Hello, I’m Yang Nan, and I’m from Taiwan. Since 2010, I’ve been using my camera to capture the fleeting moments of everyday life, focusing on those subtle emotions that often go unnoticed. My work is deeply influenced by themes of time and memory, and I primarily shoot in black-and-white film to highlight the solitude and quiet nuances of the world around us.

My approach to photography is intuitive and observational. I enjoy quietly observing the streets, waiting for those spontaneous moments that feel the most authentic. Each photograph I take is like a story, devoid of elaborate embellishments, yet rich with emotion and the raw energy of life.

My work is not just a record of the present; it is also a reflection on the past. Many of my photographs come from silent reflections on life, exploring themes such as loneliness, time, and memory. These images are not only a response to the streets I photograph but also a personal expression of my inner emotional landscape.

If you’re interested in my work or would like to know more, feel free to browse my website or get in touch. Through my lens, I hope to guide you into the world I see, allowing us to share in the beauty and the small moments that often go unnoticed.
